About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Agent/Construction Supervisor to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and managing resources effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Ensure contractual compliance and manage disputes with contractors
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintain financial control and report on project expenses
- Implement health and safety protocols to protect workers and visitors
- Utilize technical skills in CCS (Candy) or MS Project for programming and estimating
Requirements
- Matric Option A: BSc (Hons) in Construction Management with 5 years post-grad experience
- Matric Option B: BSc in Construction Management with 10 years post-grad experience
- Matric Option C: National Diploma (Civil/Building) with 15 years industry experience (min. 10 years at Management level)
- Professional registration with the SACPCMP (Professional Construction Manager status) is highly advantageous
