About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Regional HR Manager to join our team in Pretoria, West. As a Black Female candidate with a strong background in HR, you will be responsible for overseeing the human resources function in the region. With 7 years of experience in unionized HR environments and expertise in the transport/motor/passenger bus industry, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization’s talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile the HR department budget according to HR standards
  • Conduct research and develop short- and medium-term plans for the region’s H R functionality
  • Coordinate training and development of staff
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and internal procedures and processes
  • Ensure legal compliance on all aspects of the personnel function, with special attention to POPIA
  • Participate in strategy setting and specific HR Focused Projects

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • HR degree + MBA or Financial extra degree (advantageous)
  • 7 years HR experience in Unionized HR environment
  • Experience in Transport / Motor/ Passenger Bus Industry
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in MS Office, Payroll + Time Attendance systems
  • Knowledge of Wage Determination 452, BCEA, LRA and other relevant legislation
