Job Description

Minimum requirements: 1. Job Purpose To provide high-level administrative and legal support to a Conveyancing Attorney, ensuring that all property transfer matters including private, commercial, and government-sponsored transfers (with particular emphasis on Human Settlements matters) are handled efficiently, accurately, and within prescribed legal and statutory timeframes, from initial instruction to final registration. 2. Key Responsibilities File Management Document Drafting Liaison Compliance Financial Administration Lodgment Post-Registration Qualifications & Experience Education: Matric is essential; a Conveyancing Secretary Certificate or Paralegal Diploma will be a distinct advantage. Experience: A minimum of 35 years experience within a law firms conveyancing department, with demonstrable experience handling high-volume transfers, including government and Human Settlements property transfers. Proficiency in conveyancing software such as GhostConvey, LexisConvey, WinDeed, or similar systems is required. Consultant: Angie Botes – Dante Personnel Greenstone
