What youll do Monitor and analyse security logs, spotting anomalies before they become threats. Manage email security queues and stop phishing attacks in their tracks. Support patching, vulnerability fixes, and collaborate on system updates. Assist in implementing security tools, firewalls, and network segmentation. Be hands-on in incident investigations, audits, and compliance monitoring. Conduct penetration testing support, scans, and vulnerability reporting. Keep critical documentation and security records up to date. What were looking for 2 years experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or network security. A degree in Computer Science / Information Security (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, EDR, antivirus, VPN . Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing) . Familiarity with security frameworks (CIS, ISO 27001, NIST, CAA Aviation Cybersecurity). Industry certifications (Security, Network, CCNA Security, etc.) are a plus. Who you are Sharp problem-solver with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communicator (written & verbal). Customer-focused and able to support end-users confidently. South African ID holder with a valid drivers licence.
