Job Title: Technical Manager Glass & Aluminium
Location: Randburg, Johannesburg

Company Overview:
A leading Glass and Aluminium company based in Randburg is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure technical excellence, project efficiency, and client satisfaction across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance in all aspects of glass and aluminium projects.

• Work hand in hand with the Operations Manager to oversee project planning, execution, and completion.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations, and company policies.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site and during the design phase.

• Manage and mentor technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain the highest standards.

• Drive innovation and recommend improvements in materials, processes, and technologies.

Requirements:

• 1020 years proven experience in the Glass & Aluminium industry (essential).

• Strong technical knowledge of glass and aluminium products, installation, and fabrication.

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects from start to finish.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, or related field (advantageous).

Remuneration:
Market-related, based on experience and qualifications.
