About the Role
Our client in the warehouse industry is seeking a Storeman to join their team based in Richards Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording stock, as well as maintaining inventory levels and ensuring workplace cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record stock
- Organize and maintain inventory in the store/warehouse
- Issue stock and supplies accurately to departments
- Perform regular stock counts and report discrepancies
- Ensure workplace cleanliness, safety, and order at all times
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous experience as a storeman or in a warehouse environment
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
