Richards Bay: Systems Analyst

This is a hands-on role that demands initiative, adaptability, and a sharp eye for detail. You’ll need to balance urgent support requests with long-term development, troubleshoot under pressure, and collaborate with demanding but rewarding business stakeholders.  What You’ll Do: Perform system analysis, design, and software development in C#. Build, maintain, and optimise SQL databases (tables, keys, indexes, replication, log shipping). Program stored procedures, SQL views, and SAP RFCs. Develop reports and data extracts (SQL Reporting Services, LIMS, PLCs, weighbridge interfaces). Configure and manage TFS Team Foundation Server. Compile and conduct unit testing and user training. Produce accurate technical documentation and follow change-control procedures. Support in-house developed systems, ensuring audit and compliance standards are met. What We’re Looking For: Degree/Diploma in Information Technology. 5 years’ experience as a Software Developer (C# essential). 3 years’ SQL database design & reporting experience. 2 years as a Systems Analyst. Strong understanding of IT System Development Life Cycle. Manufacturing or production environment experience advantageous.
