Company and Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Serve as a brand ambassador for the organisations Lifecycle Services division. Generate revenue across multiple solution areas, including: Equipment rental services Repairs and maintenance (workshop and field service) Maintenance agreements Application optimisation Site audits, surveys, and technical assessments Conduct proactive prospecting and lead generation . Demonstrate strong technical product knowledge and perform product demonstrations. Drive solution-based sales , negotiations, and closing activities. Deliver excellent customer service and after-sales support . Perform market analysis , reporting, and development of sector-specific growth opportunities. Present the departments value proposition to customers and stakeholders. Research and identify growth opportunities in the rental market. Expand market presence in public utilities, state-owned entities, and industrial sectors . Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients. Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile): National Senior Certificate (or equivalent). Technical qualification or trade test (advantageous). 10 years experience in the pump industry . 5 years experience in technical, customer-facing salespreferably within rental or aftermarket solutions . Proficiency in MS Outlook and relevant sales tools/software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Solid negotiation and deal‑closing capabilities. Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies. Position based in or reporting to the Richards Bay area, can be based in Durban with travel to Richards Bay. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Results‑driven mindset with a commitment to quality and safety standards. Passion for continuous improvement and service excellence. Extensive knowledge of pumps, pumping systems , and preventative maintenance practices. High technical competence with sound commercial judgement. Ability to assess risk effectively when making business decisions. Strong influencing skills across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
