About the Role

An established enterprise with diverse activities in the fruit industry offers a challenging career opportunity for a suitably qualified Packhouse Line Manager for citrus and stone fruit lines. The position is based in Robertson, where you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our packhouse.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the sorting and packing process
Planning and purchasing of packaging materials
Budget management
Cold room management
Management of human resources component in the packhouse
Quality control
Control over administration

Requirements

2 to 5 years of experience in packhouse management
Knowledge of BRC and GlobalGAP accreditations
Proficiency with computer software, particularly Excel
Good interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate and manage people

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (if applicable)
