Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is looking for an experienced Business Unit HR Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering effective HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business goals and maximize employee performance, engagement, and compliance within the mining sector.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support the business objectives
- Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent
- Implement and manage performance management systems
- Lead employee relations initiatives, addressing grievances and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Design and facilitate training programs to foster employee development
- Monitor and report on HR metrics to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
- 5 years` experience in an HRBP/HR Generalist Role.
- 5 years` experience within a Management Role.
- Knowledge in the following: Business Environment, Change Management, Legislation, Mining Charter and Social and Labour Plans, HR Systems, Financial Management, HR related Policies and Procedures, Talent Management/Succession Planning.
- Cement experience would be highly advantageous.
- Valid Drivers` License.
