About the Role
Our well-known automotive dealership client based in Roodepoort is seeking an experienced Pre-owned Sales Manager with a proven track record to supervise their well-organized and profitable Pre-Owned department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely service, meeting/exceeding client requirements, and maintaining a profitable business.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct sales meetings to ensure relevant information is available for business decisions
• Provide feedback on current performances and targets, allowing staff input in matters
• Discuss CSI results and action with stakeholders
• Control all costs as per budget
• Achieve set turnaround time for debtors
• Prepare financial, productivity, and sales reporting accurately and timeously
• Manage business activities through hands-on interactive processes
• Proactively solve problems where needed, evaluate productivity measures
• Manage human resources by attracting, developing, and retaining competent employees
• Ensure all facilities operate in terms of risk management standards
• Provide training to sales executives when needed
• Create marketing awareness for the sales area using customer feedback, direct sales, CSI summary, increased brand awareness, and marketing meets target market
Requirements
Management and marketing skills, knowledge, and experience
Ability to manage and administer a department
Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation and trade practices
Ability to motivate a sales team to achieve objectives
