Job Summary
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
– Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to production facilities
– Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan production accordingly
– Oversee transportation and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers
– Analyze data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
– Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success
– Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
– Certification in supply chain management (e.g. APICS) is a plus
