About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team at Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) in Rustenburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods and services on behalf of our organization, ensuring optimal supply chain management and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure goods and services from suppliers in a mining or large industrial environment
- Manage inventory levels and optimize stock holding costs
- Implement and maintain procurement processes and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate best prices and terms
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
Requirements
- National Diploma /Bachelors degree in Business/Commerce/Procurement/Supply Chain/Finance/Logistics/Purchasing or any other relevant qualification related to the position will be an advantage.
- CIPS Qualifications will be an advantage.
- Must have National Certificate in Supply Chain / Purchasing / Logistics or similar.
Qualifications
Must have SAP MM or similar ERP system experience.
