About the Role
Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory purchasing, logistics, and supply chain operations in a large industrial environment. With a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory buying and procurement processes
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
- Implement effective inventory control systems
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- National Diploma / Bachelors degree in Business/ Commerce/ Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Finance/ Logistics/Purchasing or any other relevant qualification related to the position will be an advantage.
- CIPS Qualifications will be an advantage.
- Must have National Certificate in Supply Chain / Purchasing / Logistics or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years buying experience in a mining or large industrial environment.
- Inventory Buying experience for a large Warehouse will be an advantage.
