About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Laundry Technician to join our team in Rustenburg. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of industrial laundry machines. With a strong background in mechanical working experience and knowledge of Speed Queens, Girbau, Primus, and ADC machinery, you will play a critical role in maintaining our equipment and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on industrial laundry machines
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with machinery
- Operate and maintain “high lift” for overhead tasks
- Assist in the operation of machinery software to interpret data
- Maintain accurate records using Excel spreadsheets
- Ensure safe and secure operation of machinery, including climbing on top of equipment
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy carts
- Operate various tools, including tolls, volt meters, amp probes
Requirements
* High School Diploma (Grade 12)
* At least 2 years maintenance / mechanical working experience on industrial laundry machines
* Sound knowledge on Speed Queens, Girbau, Primus, and ADC (American Dryer Corp)
Qualifications
* Valid driver’s license
* Ability to work with others in a team, with little or no supervision
