About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mine Overseer/Technical Trainer to join our team in Rustenburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mine operations and providing technical training to employees. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise and passion for safety and compliance to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee mine operations to ensure safe and efficient production
- Provide technical training to employees on blasting, stoping, development, and sweepings methods
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Mine Overseer’s Certificate (essential)
- Valid Blasting Certificate
- 5 years of experience as an appointed Mine Overseer
- At least 5 years of experience specializing in Productions (Stoping, Development & Sweepings)
- Experience working as a contractor in this role within the past 10 years at a Mining Contractors Company
