A Corporate City Hotel in Sandton with a spa seeks to employ a hotel Accounts Assistant with the following atributes:

• Good team player willing to take direction easily with both debtors and creditors experience

• Relevant accounting qualifications an advantage

• Drivers licence and a car

• Accounting experience up to Trial balance an advantage

• Must have sound knowledge of Pastel accounting system.

• Knowledge of Opera will be an advantage

Skills & Abilities:

• Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct

• Must be able to do Creditors recons & petty cash

• Daily banking and prepare bank deposits

Must have sound knowledge of Pastel

Must be able to process refunds.

• Be able to process invoices on Pastel

• Balance supplier statements to supplier account on pastel

• Communicate well with managers on all levels, and able to work under pressure

• Must be able to work independently and effectively in a team
