Job Summary
Our client is searching for a Senior Operations Analyst to join their team in Sandton.
Job Description
- The primary function of this role is to provide operational support within the operations environment with a focus on collections, reconciliations, problem solving & solution implementation
Requirements:
- Related Degree or equivalent qualification in Business / Management or a related field
- 5+ years experience in MS Office (Advanced excel ability)
- 5+ years working within the Collections
- Transactional processing
- Experience with DebiCheck, RM and Mandates
- Take on processes, submissions of take on documentation to banks
- Up to date with all the new developments within the industry (Payshap, and RM)
- Knowledge of Payment Services policies, regulations, and practices at Industry level.
- PASA Foundation certification or higher
- Ability to manage and streamline complex reconciliations.
- Proficient in all online banking platforms
- Own transport
Role Responsibilities:
- Advanced reconciliation and analytical review of data
- Complex Problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Solution design and implementation monitoring
- Releasing payments (Banking Platforms)
- Advanced financial calculations (Float management)
- System Testing thorough testing of all system functionality
- Detailed management reports across all areas of the department
- SLA Management and Oversight
- System configuration (backend systems) for new take-ons
- Manage all banking take-ons and documentation (including transactional limits monitoring & Reporting)
- Managing and updating knowledge base (internal)

- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

- Has technical inclination (system related)
- Work independently requiring minimal supervision.

- Must exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills to complete the assigned work effectively & efficiently.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Ability to work in a team and as an individual.
- Good presentation skills
- Ability Work in a high-pressure environment
