Job Summary
Requirements:
– Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field Training or certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or related drafting software 3-5 years of proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman in engineering or construction firms Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) Experience in technical drawing, material quantification, and compliance documentation Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, materials, and structural detailing Familiarity with industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards Excellent time management and organizational skills Key
Responsibilities:
– Technical Drawings & CAD Drafting – Create and manage detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software Site Measurements & Valuations – Carry out on-site measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules Project Documentation – Interpret sketches, specifications, and design data to prepare accurate and compliant drawings Material Quantification & Scheduling – Interpret material quantities, quality standards, and cost schedules Compliance & Quality Assurance – Ensure all drawings adhere to statutory procedures, industry regulations, and project specifications Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project goals Project Support & Development – Assist with tender proposals, technical reporting, and maintaining client relations Inspections & Reports – Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed engineering reports Technology & Innovation – Stay updated on industry trends, drafting technologies, and software advancements
