About the Role
The Senior Technical Manager position is a critical role that requires an experienced professional to lead capital infrastructure projects in a mining environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Mine and Health Safety Act (MHSA) and have a deep understanding of technical domain responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest developments, trends, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage design reviews and compilation of technical specifications for capital infrastructure projects
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timeline
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations
- Regularly communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address concerns
Requirements
- 7+ years of capital infrastructure project experience
- 2+ years of working in a mining environment or similar
- Government Certificate of Competence (Engineering)
- ECSA Wish
Qualifications
- B Tech / B Eng. Mechanical or Electrical degree
