This property seats 4550 guests and offers a refined set-course menu along with snacks for the wine-tasting lounge. With a well-established management team and front-of-house structure already in place, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious chef to take the lead.

The kitchen team consists of seven dedicated members, and the position is well-suited to a strong Sous Chef ready to step into their first Head Chef role.

The successful candidate must:

• Lead, motivate and manage a kitchen team of seven

• Be energetic and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Work collaboratively as part of a wider team

• Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and clear communication

• Possess a basic sense of business operations and paperwork requirements

• Show urgency and efficiency in daily operations

• Deliver high-quality cooking to the restaurants set standards

• Be creative and adept with seasonal menus

• Have a deep connection to South African cuisine and indigenous ingredients

• Display a solid understanding of classical cooking techniques
