About the Role
We are seeking a driven Agronomist / Technical Sales Manager to support the marketing of high-quality seed products while providing expert technical guidance to farmers and agents. The ideal candidate will combine agronomic knowledge with strong sales ability and enjoy working directly with the agricultural community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for seed products
- Provide technical advice and product guidance to farmers and agents
- Plan, execute, and evaluate trials for new and existing products
- Present product information at farmer days and study groups
- Communicate new product developments to agents and farmers
- Achieve sales budgets by setting targets and tracking performance
- Assist with stock takes and management of consignment stock
Requirements
- 2-5 years relevant experience in seed sales or agricultural product sales (preferred)
- Relevant qualification or experience in seed sales or agronomy
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (read, write, speak)
- Valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
