About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join a prestigious 5* Island Resort in Mozambique. This unique opportunity offers a hands-on finance professional the chance to live and work on a private island, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial administration of a luxury hospitality operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions
- Support month-end processes
- Manage payroll and supplier reconciliations
- Assist with operational finance controls across departments
Requirements
- Relevant Accounting / Finance qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within hospitality
- Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
- Payroll and tax administration experience
- Experience with accounting systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Hands-on, proactive and solution-driven
