About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and versatile management couple to join our team at a stunning 5* Beach Lodge on the Wild Coast. The successful candidate will have a strong background in luxury lodges with hands-on management experience and guiding skills. A great opportunity for a dynamic duo to become an integral part of our intimate team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage lodge operations, including overseeing various departments (kitchen/housekeeping, etc.)
- Provide exceptional guest relations and hosting skills
- Lead and think on the spot as needed
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies via social media and other channels
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in luxury lodge management and guiding
- Strong computer skills, including social media and marketing
- Excellent guest relations and hosting skills
- Ability to think on the spot and handle various situations
- Experience with remote/rural operations
Qualifications
- Qualified Game Ranger/Field Guide with FGASA Level 1 certification
- Valid Skippers License with beach launch experience
- RSA Driver’s License with a public driver’s permit (PDP)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R30 000 – R35 000 per annum for the couple. Live-in accommodation is provided, but we cannot accommodate children or pets due to our remote location.
