Assistant Lodge Manager Luxury Lodge | Buyskloof, Eastern Cape Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Lodge Manager to support daily operations at a luxury safari lodge in Buyskloof. This role offers the opportunity to work in a stunning safari environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth lodge management. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Lodge Manager with daily operations and service delivery Manage and motivate lodge staff, conduct weekly meetings, and maintain high standards of professionalism Ensure exceptional guest service and handle feedback to create memorable experiences Oversee procurement, inventory management, stock ordering, and supplier relationships Coordinate departments including housekeeping, F&B, and guiding teams to uphold excellence Maintain health & safety compliance and assist with budget management Support staff training and development initiatives Implement initiatives to enhance the lodges reputation and guest satisfaction Qualifications / Requirements: Proven experience in luxury hospitality management, ideally in a safari lodge or remote luxury setting Strong leadership, staff management, and team development skills Excellent customer service skills and passion for guest satisfaction Experience in procurement, inventory, and supplier management Good financial acumen and budgeting experience Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic lodge environment Hospitality management certification preferred Package & Benefits: Work cycle: 21 Days On / 7 Days Off Meals provided on duty Monthly tips included Salary: Negotiable DOE ?
