About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our client’s 10 sleeper lodge in North-West, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the lodge, providing excellent guest experiences, and supporting the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Hosting: Check-in and check-out guests
- Stock control and orders in various departments
- Work closely with the Lodge Manager
- Conduct room checks before guests arrive
- Manage staff and ensure adequate coverage
Requirements
- Formal qualification in hospitality management
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a 4/5-star lodge
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Computer literate and have excellent admin skills
- Excellent communicator
- Good eye for detail
- Good work ethic
Qualifications
- A qualification in hospitality management is required.
