About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a polished and motivated Assistant Spa Manager for a luxury hotel and spa in the Constantia area. This role requires a hands-on spa professional with strong operational support skills, excellent guest engagement ability, and a passion for wellness, retail, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Spa Manager with day-to-day spa operations and team coordination
  • Assist with staff supervision, shift scheduling, and daily task allocation
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences through professional hosting and service recovery
  • Drive retail and treatment sales, maximising commission opportunities
  • Ensure treatment rooms, spa facilities, and public areas meet luxury standards
  • Manage bookings, guest records, POS processes, and basic spa administration
  • Monitor stock levels, product usage, and assist with ordering and stock control
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times

Requirements

  • Recognised Spa or Beauty Therapy qualification
  • Previous experience in a spa environment essential
  • Supervisory or assistant management experience advantageous
  • Strong retail sales ability with confidence in recommending treatments and products
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and guest service skills
  • Well-presented, professional, and service driven
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts

Qualifications

  • Recognised Spa or Beauty Therapy qualification (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

R15,750 CTC + Excellent Commission on Treatments & Retail
