Mirna Butler Recruitment is recruiting for a client in Melbourne seeking a qualified and experienced Automotive Technician to join a high-performing team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled motor mechanic looking to relocate and build a stable career abroad in a modern, well-equipped workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality mechanical servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and techniques
• Provide accurate quotations and maintain detailed job records
• Road test vehicles and assist with evaluations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop
• Support operational efficiency and contribute to budget targets
• Comply with health and safety standards and company policies
• Share technical knowledge and assist team members
• Perform overtime as required to meet business needs

Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship
• Minimum 12 months experience servicing and repairing various vehicle makes and models
• Current drivers licence
• MVRIA licence or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain accurate records
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to customer service

Desirable:

• E-Safety (pink slip) licence
• Post-trade qualifications
• Experience with modern diagnostic tools and workshop systems

Remuneration:

• Salary range: AUD $75,000 $85,000 per annum
• Plus 12% superannuation (employer contribution to retirement fund)
