About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Avocado Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our avocado farm in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree crops and a proven track record of success in avocado farming.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day farm operations, including crop monitoring and maintenance
- Ensure optimal production levels through efficient use of resources
- Maintain accurate records of farm performance, including yields and expenses
- Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality inputs
- Develop and implement strategies to improve farm productivity
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree
- At least 3 years experience in tree crops
- Knowledge of Avocado farming
- Strong understanding of Avocado production
- Good record keeping skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Hardworking, driven to succeed and initiative
- Excellent communication
