Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (preferred)
  • 6+ years’ proven experience in back-end software development, project delivery, and implementation
  • Strong Python skills (primary language); Java experience beneficial
  • Solid experience with AWS services (RDS, EC2, Lambda; Odin and EKS clusters advantageous)
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, regulation-driven environments
  • Experience in anti-money laundering, financial crime, or regulatory compliance projects (advantageous)
  • Willingness to learn and upskill – especially in Python if coming from a Java background
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
  • Familiarity with monitoring, error logging, and dashboarding tools
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Cloud experience on platforms beyond AWS will also be considered if adaptable
