Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst Developer to join our IT Solutions team within a leading Asset Management firm. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that support both operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Your ability to understand complex business processes, manipulate data from multiple sources, and present insights effectively will contribute directly to business success in a data-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reporting systems through the full development stack.
  • Integrate data from diverse sources to establish a trusted, unified data model (single source of truth).
  • Perform relational and dimensional data modelling to support analytical workloads.
  • Analyse and interpret data to generate actionable insights that drive business improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in BI development and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a BI Analyst Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or Qlik.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong database querying ability.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical thinking skills.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI.
  • Exposure to Snowflake, Talend, or Qlik.
  • Experience working in the financial or asset management sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering BI projects from conception to deployment.
