Job Summary
Butchery Manager required for a renowned retail store based in Zwelitsha Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Oversee and perform precise butchery tasks, including cutting, deboning, trimming, and portioning meat to meet quality standards. Ensure the butchery area is maintained to high standards of cleanliness and organization. Supervise the storage and handling of meat products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and enhancing the customer experience. Manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee the ordering of supplies as needed. Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, implementing best practices for a safe working environment. Lead and train team members to maintain high operational standards and efficiency in the butchery department. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Butchery Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of meat cutting and preparation techniques. Knowledge of meat quality, cuts, and proper handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
