About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Camp Manager for a luxury safari lodge in Zambia. As a hands-on leader, you will oversee all aspects of lodge operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, smooth daily operations, and high-performing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff to ensure consistent high standards and a motivated team
- Oversee budgets, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Maintain lodge facilities, vehicles, and equipment to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Prepare reports for management, including occupancy, revenue, and operational performance
- Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standards across the lodge
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef, F&B Manager, and other department heads to ensure seamless guest experience
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in lodge or camp management within a luxury safari environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Ability to work in a remote lodge environment with flexible hours
- Knowledge of safari operations, wildlife management, and guest experience management
Qualifications
Formal hospitality qualification advantageous

Salary: 2000 USD – 2500 USD
