About the Role
Telebest is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, availability, and accessibility of our information and systems. You will also contribute to the implementation of Balance Score Card initiatives and define and maintain the cybersecurity strategy for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, availability, and accessibility of information and systems by authorized users based on appropriate standards.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Balance Score Card initiatives.
- Define and maintain the cybersecurity strategy for the organization.
- Ensure that the network and data remain secure through active information and cyber security management.
- Design appropriate remedial actions for identified risks.
- Provide technical expertise to the solution or technical architect regarding systems requirements and solutions.
- Establish, build, and maintain collaborative working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Scan the environment to ensure a clear understanding of stakeholder needs.
- Manage service level agreements.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of a NQF level 7 Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Professional Information Security Certification.
- 5+ years experience working in a cybersecurity role, of which 3 years must be on Azure services and managing or supervising a team.
- Solid understanding of the following security frameworks: ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST CSF would be advantageous.
- Experience in either DevSecOps, Application Security, Security Architecture or Offensive Security would be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of a NQF level 7 Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
