Our client has an opportunity available for a Clous Security Specialist based in Pretoria.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of a NQF level 7 Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Professional Information Security Certification.
- 5+ years experience working in a cybersecurity role, of which 3 years must be on Azure services and managing or supervising a team.
- Solid understanding of the following security frameworks: ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST CSF would be advantageous.
- Experience in either DevSecOps, Application Security, Security Architecture or Offensive Security would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, availability and accessibility of information and systems by authorised users based on appropriated standards.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Balance Score Card initiatives.
- Define and maintain the cybersecurity strategy for the organization
- Ensure that the network and data remain secure through active information and cyber security management.
- Define, implement, and efficiently maintain technology security controls and requirements in relation to the cloud platform.
- Design appropriate remedial actions for identified risks.
- Provide technical expertise to the solution or technical architect regarding systems requirements and solutions.
- Establish, build and maintain collaborative working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Scan the environment to ensure a clear understanding of stakeholder needs.
- Manage service level agreements.
- Manage service level agreements.
- Contribute to the compilation of centre budgets and manage project expenditures related to functional area.
