Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise drilling and blasting operations in accordance with mine production targets. Ensure proper drilling and blasting techniques are applied to achieve optimal fragmentation and minimize environmental impact.
- Monitor and control explosive usage, storage, and handling in line with regulatory and company safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and company-specific regulations regarding blasting operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
- Three (3) years in drilling and blasting within an opencast mining environment
- Competent A
- Valid driver’s license.
- The successful candidate will be required to pass a medical assessment.
