Responsibilities

In this full-time role, the Design Coordinator will take charge of the following key responsibilities:

Design Management:

• Plan, oversee, and deliver design projects from conception to completion, ensuring client specifications, deadlines, and quality standards are met.

Team Coordination:

• Lead and coordinate the efforts of designers, engineers, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across departments.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all design outputs meet industry standards, best practices, and client expectations.

Client Liaison:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the design phase, addressing needs, incorporating feedback, and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Design Review:

• Conduct regular design reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Documentation:

• Maintain thorough project documentation, including meeting notes, progress reports, and relevant technical records.

Market Trends:

• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into design processes.

Requirements

Educational Background:

• A bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering is required (a master’s degree is preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design management or project coordination within a design and engineering environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design software, with Revit preferred.
• Strong understanding of design workflows, quality standards, and industry regulations.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Client Management Expertise:

• Proven experience in client engagement and stakeholder coordination, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
