Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Logistics or Supply Chain tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years of receiving and dispatching experience
- Proven supervisory / leadership experience
- Strong stock control and warehouse management skills
- Knowledge of stock control/warehouse management systems
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel essential)
- Highly organised with strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership, team development, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all receiving, picking, packing, stacking, and dispatch operations
- Coordinate the efficient flow of products through the warehouse
- Ensure accurate and timeous receiving and dispatching of goods
- Enforce security measures and prevent stock losses
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and ensure correct stock placement
- Manage and lead warehouse staff, including performance and workload distribution
- Plan and conduct stock takes and manage stock control processes
- Record, monitor, and report on stock, equipment, and consumables
- Reconcile all receiving and dispatch documentation and invoicing
- Plan daily receiving and dispatch schedules
- Train and support warehouse employees
- Ensure adherence to warehouse procedures and FSSC requirements
