Our client has an opportunity available for a DTP Operator.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations to suppliers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Understand digital ink systems.
• Good understanding of digital subtrates.

Responsibilities:

• Receive production orders and job assignments from supervisor.
• Read job orders to verify substrate and quantity to be printed.
• Solve imaging problems and make adjustments to mechanical operations of the device.
• Set up printers according to established company guidelines, safety, and job requirements.
• Complete production records.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of printers, workstations, and immediate areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
