Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years minimum in short-term insurance, specifically handling commercial or engineering claims
- Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12), RE5 examination (Level 1) completion, and a relevant NQF Level 5 qualification in insurance or finance
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles, construction sectors, and policy coverage
- Software Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with claims management systems
Responsibilities:
- Manage full claim cycles from FNOL (First Notification of Loss) to final settlement
- Appoint and liaise with assessors, loss adjusters, and technical experts
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers on repairs or replacements
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., FICA, POPIA)
