? Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and professional Field Guide to join the team at a luxury 5* lodge in the Greater Kruger area. The successful candidate must have excellent guiding skills, a commitment to conservation, and a proven ability to deliver world-class guest experiences.

This is a live-in role with an attractive work cycle, suited to a guide who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment and is looking to grow their career within a reputable lodge group.

? Key Requirements

• Minimum FGASA NQF4 qualification (Apprentice Trails Guide advantageous).

• Valid PDP, First Aid, ARH, and NDT/LEDET registration.

• Previous guiding experience in a 5-star luxury lodge environment.

• Strong communication, hosting, and guest engagement skills.

• Passion for conservation and interpreting the natural environment.

• Professional, well-presented, and dedicated to exceptional guest service.

? Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily game drives and guided bush walks (where qualified).

• Deliver engaging, educational, and memorable guest experiences.

• Ensure guest safety and adherence to reserve protocols.

• Assist with lodge hosting duties when required.

• Contribute to conservation awareness and sustainability initiatives.

• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and compliance records.

? Salary & Package

• R10,000 R12,000 per month DOE

• Live-in position with accommodation provided.

• Medical aid & provident fund contributions included.

• Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
