Financial Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Sabi Sand (Hybrid/Remote) Salary: DOE Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Manager for a luxury safari lodge in Sabi Sand. This hybrid live-out role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on property during the week, playing a pivotal role in ensuring financial excellence while supporting exceptional guest experiences. Minimum Requirements: Apply Below degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Minimum 5 years finance experience, with at least 2 years within the hospitality sector Advanced proficiency in MS Office Experience with Sage Software (Intacct preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Controls Oversee all property finance functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group SOPs Review and approve purchase orders in line with budgets Manage cash flow, petty cash, and credit card reconciliations Validate daily revenue submissions and ensure accurate reporting Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers and operating equipment assets Oversee inventory management, variance recounts, and control systems Budgeting; Reporting & Analysis Drive and manage the annual property budget process in collaboration with department heads Prepare and analyse management accounts, providing variance analysis and insights Produce flash and project reports to support decision-making Assist with pricing of extras and ancillary services Audit; Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure robust internal controls are implemented and maintained Assist with annual external audits and ensure documentation is audit-ready Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Act as the key finance liaison between property and support office Work closely with HR on gratuities, staff deductions, and payroll-related matters Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams Personal Attributes: Excellent attention to detail Strong guest-focused mindset Honest and clear communicator Positive, collaborative team player Excellent time management and self-discipline Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-driven Able to work accurately under pressure Open to feedback and continuous improvement Salary: Negotiable DOE | Hybrid Live-Out Role This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking a structured hybrid role within a luxury lodge environment, where operational excellence and guest experience go hand in hand.
