Front Office Administrator / Receptionist Luxury Lodge | Bela Bela
Salary: R8,000 R9,000 Negotiable DOE | Live-in
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Front Office Administrator / Receptionist to join the team at a luxury lodge based in Bela Bela. This position plays a vital role in both guest-facing service and back-office coordination, ensuring the smooth running of daily lodge operations.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, calls, emails, bookings, and general enquiries

Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests

Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting reception area

Schedule appointments and manage lodge calendars
-
Support other departments with administrative coordination when required
Reservations & Billing
-
Accurately manage reservation data on PMS systems
-
Ensure prompt billing and daily account balancing
-
Reconcile daily cash, floats, and credit card transactions, investigating any variances
-
Maintain strict adherence to credit control procedures and documentation
Finance & Reporting
-
Process payments and allocations on PMS, ensuring accurate reconciliation with NEBULA reporting
-
Manage petty cash with proper documentation and daily reconciliation
-
Provide basic bookkeeping support, including purchases against budgets and payroll assistance

Prepare and distribute daily revenue and end-of-day reports
Stock & Systems Management
-
Monitor and manage stock for the Wellness Centre and Curio Shop
-
Assist with scheduled stocktakes, ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting
-
Ensure all control systems are effectively maintained
Minimum Experience & Requirements
-
Minimum of 23 years experience in a similar hospitality role

Matric certificate required; further qualifications advantageous

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
-
Experience with hospitality PMS systems such as NEBULA, APEX, or OPERA (OPERA Cloud highly beneficial)

Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-
Confident, well-spoken, and presentable with a good command of English

Valid RSA ID required
-
Drivers Licence beneficial but not essential
