Job Description

Position: Bookkeeper – Energy or Engineering Industry
Location: Somerset West, South Africa

Hire Resolve’s client, a leading company in the energy or engineering industry, is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team in Somerset West. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in bookkeeping and a strong understanding of financial processes in the energy or engineering sector.

Responsibilities:
– Maintain and manage financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
– Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
– Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
– Assist with budget planning and financial forecasting
– Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
– Assist with audits and tax preparation

Requirements:
– Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the energy or engineering industry
