Responsible for the garden maintenance of a section of a large estate, including the maintenance of swimming pools, indoor plants and irrigation, you will work under the supervision of the horticulturist and supervisor and work with a team to maintain the garden to a high standard. Along with your Matric Certificate, you have relevant gardening maintenance qualification/certification with 2 years gardening/landscaping experience. You can work independently and as part of a team and are passionate and motivated, with a strong work ethic. An understanding of horticultural machinery and experience in their use and care, as well as experience and knowledge in lawn care, tree maintenance and hedge trimming, caring for and maintaining high-end residential gardens, and pests and pest control, will set you apart from the rest. You can converse in English to respond to guests and have sound knowledge of various plants.
