About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead operations at a luxury bush lodge in the Okavango Delta. This live-in role offers an excellent package and the opportunity to manage a premium safari lodge in one of Africa’s most iconic destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple departments and maintaining high standards of service, while also ensuring the lodge runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of lodge operations
  • Oversee multiple departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy
  • Collaborate with local partners and suppliers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior management role within luxury hospitality or lodge operations
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and operational management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable living and working in a remote bush environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field (negotiable)

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: BP 50,000 – BP 70,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Live-in accommodation (en-suite, kitchen, lounge, dining area)
  • Visa; medical cover, and flights included

About the Role
