About the Role
Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced and skilled Greenhouse Farm Manager to join our team. As a seasoned professional in greenhouse vegetable production, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our greenhouses, with a focus on tomatoes and capsicum. You will oversee daily workflows, lead teams, and ensure optimal yields and consistent quality. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of greenhouse vegetable production
- Monitor plant health, growth stages, pest/disease pressure, and overall production performance
- Oversee irrigation, fertigation, pruning, trellising, crop protection, and harvesting activities
- Plan, implement, and oversee daily workflows within the greenhouse environment
- Manage production schedules to achieve optimal yields and consistent quality
- Ensure effective use of resources including water, inputs, labour, and energy
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field
- Proven experience managing greenhouse vegetable production (tomatoes & capsicum essential)
- Strong understanding of crop nutrition, irrigation, pest/disease management, and modern greenhouse systems
- Ability to lead teams, plan work, and manage production efficiently
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently
Qualifications
