Guest Relations Consultant | Luxury Safari Lodge | Sabi Sands, South Africa Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Guest Relations Consultant for a Luxury Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands, South Africa. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class property, ensuring that each guest receives a memorable stay while contributing to the smooth operation of the lodge and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Requirements: Grade 12; a qualification in Travel and Tourism is an added advantage Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar guest relations or front office role Sound knowledge of MS Office and ResRequest Understanding of overall hospitality operations Confident, presentable, and articulate, with strong people skills (tolerance, patience, and care) Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control South African or valid work permit Key Responsibilities: Perform reception and guest-facing duties, including check-in, check-out, and hosting meals when required Obtain and manage reservation information, ensuring accurate communication to relevant departments Meet and greet guests, providing information on accommodation, services, facilities, and activities Deliver exceptional guest service, attending to requests and ensuring personal attention throughout their stay Conduct periodic room and guest area checks to maintain high housekeeping standards Communicate guest preferences, dietary requirements, and special requests to all departments Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners such as park staff, tour operators, and transfer companies Follow company sustainability practices and property standards Adapt to changing schedules and work hours as required in a 24-hour operation Key Skills & Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and guest-focused mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented with creative problem-solving skills Strong time management, discipline, and ability to work under pressure Committed, loyal, and adaptable with a professional demeanor Ability to receive feedback openly and continuously improve performance Package: Competitive salary (based on experience) Live-in accommodation may be provided Meals on duty Uniform and operational support Opportunities for growth within a respected luxury lodge group To apply for the Guest Relations Consultant position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements for the position will be contacted.
