Head Chef Food & Beverage Consultancy | Cape Town & Stellenbosch Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join a leading Food and Beverage Consultancy operating across Cape Town and Stellenbosch. This role offers a competitive salary of R30,000 R40,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience) . The ideal candidate will be a creative and driven culinary professional with strong leadership skills, capable of overseeing multiple projects and delivering high-quality culinary solutions for diverse clients. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-end or luxury hospitality environment Extensive knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and menu development Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional organisational and administrative abilities Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and kitchen operations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creative and innovative approach to menu design and culinary trends Flexibility to work across multiple locations and projects Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage culinary operations across client projects Develop and implement menus that meet client expectations and industry standards Lead; mentor, and manage kitchen teams to deliver excellence Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations Maintain strict quality control and consistency across all culinary outputs Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored culinary solutions Monitor kitchen budgets, costs, and resource management Drive innovation and maintain a high level of creativity and presentation in all dishes This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic culinary professional to lead and shape culinary experiences across multiple high-profile projects in the Cape Town and Stellenbosch region.
