Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Customer Support technical team, including task allocation, scheduling, leave approvals, and performance management.
- Oversee daily operations of the Maintenance and Services function.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to allocate resources and ensure effective SLA execution.
- Identify and drive upgrades, new services, and value-added opportunities.
- Mentor and develop technical staff while promoting a culture of teamwork and operational excellence.
- Maintain financial oversight to ensure profitability of maintenance and service activities.
- Participate in SLA negotiations and contract renewals.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure contractual compliance.
- Ensure quality assurance and alignment with customer expectations.
- Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and operational procedures.
- Manage technical, contractual, financial, Health & Safety, and scheduling risks.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate
- BSc Engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronic or similar)
- Recognised Occupational Health and Safety training in line with the OHS Act (Act 85 of 1993), including HIRA, Incident Investigations, and Construction Regulations
- Pr. Eng registration with a recognised professional body preferred
- ORHVS certification preferred

- 8+ years of relevant technical management experience in electronic/electrical engineering projects and systems
- Minimum 3 years leading teams
- Minimum 3 years management experience
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- SLA and contract management expertise
- Financial oversight and profitability management

- Client relationship management
