With 349 stylish rooms, apartments, and suites, breathtaking views, a palm lined infinity pool, world class restaurants, and state of the art conference and event venues, The President offers an iconic working environment where excellence meets opportunity.
We’re seeking a warm, professional, and detail oriented Receptionist with Opera PMS experience to join our Front Office team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As the first and last impression of the hotel, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless arrivals, departures, and lobby interactions while upholding five star service standards.

Minimum Requirements
- Valid South African ID
- Minimum 2 years’ hotel reception experience in large hotel properties
- Opera PMS experience (essential)
- Strong communication skills, well spoken, clear, and professional
- Presentable with excellent grooming standards
- Computer literate, Opera PMS and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Updated CV must be submitted

Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement and Service Excellence
Welcome guests with warmth, proactively engage in the lobby, escort VIPs, and personalise every interaction.
Arrivals and Departures
Manage check ins and check outs efficiently, ensure billing accuracy, and coordinate luggage assistance.
Daily Operations and Shift Procedures
Handle emails, reports, credit checks, loyalty enrolments, adjustments, and postings while keeping the reception desk organised.
Team Communication and Handover
Attend briefings, provide clear updates, liaise with Housekeeping and Porters, and ensure accurate shift handovers.
Breaks and End of Shift Protocol
Follow structured schedules, complete checks, and hand over pending matters to ensure smooth operations.
