The ideal candidate will be experienced, presentable and hospitable hotelier with a good understanding of the housekeeping operations of a hotel. They should have experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment. Someone who is systems driven and is proactive and gets things done. Requirements · Minimum of 3 years’ experience in housekeeping supervisor/management roles within the 4* hospitality environment. · Strong Leadership Skills · Customer service oriented · High Level of responsibility and accountability · Strong management, communication and organizational skills · Attention to detail · Computer literate Description · Ensure that the daily housekeeping and laundry operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied. · Training and motivating of staff · Scheduling of staff and ensuring efficient use of departmental resources. · Oversee staff on a daily basis · Working with hotel guests who have specific housekeeping needs · Coordinating housekeeping needs with other hotel department managers · Ensure compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards of the hotel · Conduct daily room checks · Ensure cleanliness of all public areas. · Purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment · Managing housekeeping stock levels and storerooms. Package on offer · R15 000 – R18 000 pm – Depending on experience · Live-in · Includes a meal on duty · Company provident fund contribution – 7% of basic salary · Company medical aid contribution – 50% Premium Momentum Starting Date: ASAP
